Dr. Rashmi Hooda’s hometown is Milledgeville, Georgia. She majored in Biology and Psychology at Emory
University in Atlanta, Georgia where she received her undergraduate education. She then attended American
University in the Caribbean, St. Marteen, and received her Doctor of Medicine degree. She then did her
training and residency at University of Illinois and Ravenswood Hospital in Internal Medicine. She has since
worked in different hospitals in Augusta, Dublin, and Atlanta, and then started her own practice in Milledgeville
in Internal Medicine. She has recently joined Sparlin Health Care as a physician.
Professional memberships have included the American Medical Association, American Society of Internal
Medicine, and American College of Physicians.
Dr. Hooda enjoys activities such as running, tennis, hiking, and yoga.
